Imagine our surprise as we draw towards the close of another busy year that we had forgotten to keep our Blog up to date. We've moved into new premises, had the website reworked, started a presence on Facebook, setup our email accounts at last and we were even on TV, but we forgot about the blog. Oops.

Anyway, in what we hope will be the first of many regular updates, lets have a look at what's been going on with Durham Wedding Cars since we got all forgetful...

Our website has had a complet eoverhaul and is now a little easier to navigate and includes a greater selection of pictures of our cars and information about the services we offer. Please have a look and let us know what you think, You can find it at:

Our new premises, at 12 Station Road, Seaham have been redecorated and generally tidied up. We have installed new lighting and refreshed all the signs amongst a host of other little jobs. Its a wonderful place to come down and see the cars, have a coffee, have a chat and hopefully make the decision to use Durham Wedding Cars for your big day. Durham Wedding Cars at Durham Cathedral

Our first wedding of 2011 here at Durham Wedding Cars and what better location than Durham Cathedral!

Two of our Daimler Limousines and one of our Mercedes carried Vicky, Chris and their party in luxury and style to the Cathedral on a crisp saturday in February.

The service in Durham Cathedral went off without a hitch and the cars were ready and waiting to carry the couple and their guests onward to their reception at Bowburn Hall to celebrate their marriage.

Of course, we here at Durham Wedding Cars could hardly miss the opportunity to take a few pictures of our cars in such a prestigious location as Durham Cathedral. So we are very pleased to add these photographs to our website and blog.

Durham Wedding Cars Beauford3 outside the church of Saint Michael and All Angels, in Houghton-le-Spring, on the 4th of December at the wedding of Michaela Stafford to Simon Charlton.

The bride and groom did wonder if we would be able to 'get through the snow' and we did.

The journey after the ceremony to the Kopt Hill was uneventful with regards to road and travel conditions and the Bride and Groom arrived both safe and sound. Another job well done.

The End Of Another Year

For Durham Wedding Cars the year ended with true winter weather on our last two weddings of the year.
Snow , snow, more snow - and freezing cold temperatures, but this did not in any way deter us.

Durham Wedding Cars will always deliver, no matter what the conditions.

On Sunday the 27th December, with Beauford One, we attended the wedding of Francesca Hopkin to Glenn Hall at Preston Hall and then at Wynyard Golf Club

And Finally 'Our Last Wedding of the Year

Our last wedding of the year on Monday 28th December, did not have quite so much snow,

(it was much nearer to the coast at Marske.)

After an early morning wash and brush up for Beauford One from the day before, we arrived, along with Daimler Two for the wedding of Ginna Lanny to Steven Whelerton in St Marks church in Marske, and then to Judges Country House Hotel at Kirklevington Hall, Yarm.

Winter Wonderland....

Well, the snow is falling across the country as we type this, but we won't let that hinder Durham Wedding Cars from continuing to offer our excellent service for our customers special days.

Winter is traditionally a little quiet on the wedding front, but Durham Wedding Cars bookings extend throughout the festive season again this year. Rain, hail or snow, its business as usual.

We here at Durham Wedding Cars, know that this vehicle will be well recieved by our customers and are certain that it could make a beautiful addition to your special day.The immaculate Jaguar Sovereign V12, presented in Solent Blue, is to compliment our current fleet and we feel it would be an ideal choice to transport the Groom, Best Man or party to the wedding venue (not all Grooms choose to arrive on their special day in a traditional 'white' car) and then may be used to transport the Bridesmaids to the reception venue.

Just a quick note to let you know about a new addition to the Durham Wedding Cars fleet of vehicles.

A black over ivory Daimler limousine, which compliments our Beauford 1 as an ideal wedding package. It made its debut for Durham Wedding Cars today, a lovely run out from Ramside Hall, Durham to Shotton Hall in Peterlee.
